A Youtube community project: May 31st is poet Walt Whitman's birthday. This video asks you to celebrate Walt Whitman's birthday by taking 15 minutes to be silent and listen to the quiet of nature. Then, make a video of your reflections on silence. Maybe you can hear the waves...Inspired by the Walt Whitman Birthplace Museum and surrounding community in Long Island, New York. FYI: Correction: Walt Whitman was born in West Hills, LI. I had it wrong in video!
