On 3/18/07 a Peace March and Rally was held in Huntington, LI, NY to comemorate the the 4th Anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. The Vigil included the reading of the names of US soldiers from Long Island who were killed in Iraq. The following people spoke: Janet Eagan, Drew Mealey of Military Families Speka Out; bill mcNulty of Long Island Veterans for Peace; Charlotte Koons of Code Pink; and Brian O'haire of the Suffolk peace network. The two pictures are examples from the Green Party of Suffolk "End The Iraq War - Bring Home Our Troops" poster contest. The entries were either in the the youth and adult categories. The winners will be awarded at the 3rd Annual Green Party of Suffolk St. Patrick's Day Fundraiser on 3/16/07 in Setauket, NY.
